59E59 Theaters programming is currently suspended
In prioritizing the health and wellness of our visiting artists, our staff, and our patrons, as well as our community at large, 59E59 Theaters’ has suspended all programming through the end of June, 2020.
Due to the continuing impact of the novel coronavirus, 59E59 Theaters has, with a heavy heart, decided to additionally cancel Brits Off Broadway (April 14 - June 28). We are already in discussions with our UK colleagues about reprogramming most of the previously announced shows into our Brits season in 2021.

Olivia Hirst and David Byrne's play tells the true story of the police hunt for one of Britain’s most infamous serial killers, The Yorkshire Ripper. The turbulent investigation is said to have been the birth of modern policing, changing the relationship between the forces and society forever.
★★★★ "The ingenuity of this piece is that it gives you a pacey, clock-ticking sense of what things were like." The Telegraph
The play was scheduled to open at the 59E59 Theaters in New York on 23rd April 2020 for a 4 week run. Any further information regarding the potential reprogramming of the play will be available from the New Diorama Theatre and 59E59 Theaters.
