The Incident Room, a new play about the Yorkshire Ripper case



Ben is delighted to be joining the cast of new play The Incident Room, written by Olivia Hirst and David Byrne detailing the biggest manhunt in British police history, the capture of Peter Sutcliffe - the "Yorkshire Ripper".

Ben will be playing Detective Superintendent Dick Holland in the play which will premiere at the Pleasance during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.


It's 1975. The Millgarth Incident Room is the epicentre of the biggest manhunt in British police history. Follow Sergeant Megan Winterburn as she joins hundreds of officers working around the clock to find the man known as the Yorkshire Ripper. With public pressure mounting, the investigation resorts to increasingly audacious attempts to catch one of Britain's most notorious serial killers. Presented at Edinburgh Festival Fringe by New Diorama Theatre, The Pleasance and Greenwich Theatre.
